An invoice issued is already a journal entry. The accountant reviews and adjusts instead of retyping.
SYSCOHADA chart of accounts, classes 1 to 8, and statements bearing the framework’s own labels.
A closed period stops moving. What is settled stays settled, and an audit can rely on it.
What you can do with it
The reference chart, extensible with your own accounts without leaving the framework.
Entries generated by trading, plus the ones you post yourself, in one journal.
Account by account, with movement detail and balances at the date you pick.
The two summary statements, generated over the period and exportable for the firm.
Output and input VAT tracked separately, with per-document detail for the return.
Dated periods that can be locked, with balances carried into the next one.
How it works
-
01
Set the chart
The starting SYSCOHADA chart, extended with your own accounts.
-
02
Let trading do the posting
Sales, purchases, collections and expenses produce their entries.
-
03
Produce the statements
Trial balance, ledger, balance sheet and P&L over the period, ready for the firm.
What the module includes
- Money in and money out
- Expenses
- Cash and bank accounts
SYSCOHADA, not an adapted chart
Tools designed for Europe offer a French chart you then have to bend. Here the starting framework is the revised SYSCOHADA, with its classes 1 to 8 and the labels your accountant already uses. VAT follows the rate in force, and the summary statements carry the names the administration expects — which changes everything at filing time.
Common questions
Can my accountant work inside it?
Yes. A dedicated login is created with a role limited to accounting: they see entries and statements without reaching the till, purchase prices or settings.
Can entries be edited?
While the period is open, yes, and every change is tracked in the activity log. Once the period is closed, entries are frozen.
Can I export for my firm?
Yes, statements and entry detail export to Excel. There is not yet a standardised interchange format specific to a given practice software.
